This motor has been in my Grandfathers old shop for many years and as a small child I can vaguely remember seeing it run but that was many years ago. As can be seen in the photos it is in really good shape it turns easy and as it turns the valve opens and closes off the cam. I first thought it was a hit miss motor so I took it to a local man that rebuilds the hit miss and he told me it was a gas engine and he remembers seeing it in my Grandfathers shop. He had looked it over and thinks it would take very little to make it run but it would need a 6 volt system? The overall hight is 9" motor is 6 5/8" by 2 7/8" by 2 3/4" the wheel is 6" by 3/4" and the base is 6" by 8".
