Description
This is a Metro Premium Lister CS clone Stationary Diesel engine. 6 HP @ 650 RPM Indirect Injection - which makes it a good choice for burning waste vegatable oil. Approx. 2' Spoked Balanced Flywheels, one of which is machined with micro v flat belt grooves for Serpentine Belt. Taper roller bearing mains. 2" Shaft. This is an extremely heavy duty and simple engine. Water cooled - you supply your own cooling tank. Engine is equipped with belt driven water pump, but you can also thermosipon cool the engine and not use the pump if you want. Comes with fuel tank, air cleaner, basic tool kit and muffler. We carry a complete line of spares for these engines. In answer to many questions. - This is not in "Kit" form. Engine is ready to run as you get it. You need to supply your cooling system and fill with Lube Oil and Diesel. Flywheels and head are mounted. I added the pictures from a trip to Pennsylvania this Fall. This young man was all business when it came to "his" engine. The 6/1 in these two pictures is a couple years old and has been set up in fine order. This Amish family is using it to charge a large air reciever for running washing machine, etc. Engine is fitted with Delco starter/Generator and sliding compressor base to declutch engine. These engines are used for everything you can think of and some you can't even believe! We have the 16/1 and 12/2 in stock and ready for delivery tomorrow. The 12/2 uses same piston/head/fuel pumps as the 6/1, and we have a whole floor of spare parts. Rest assured you will be able to get parts for this engine for a long time to come. Complete gasket set with seals 25.00 Big End bearing 12.00 Rings 20.00, Main Bearing 14.00, Gib Key 6.00, Head 115.00, Valves 20.50, Valve guide 4.50, Liner 59.00 Most of the time it costs just about as much to ship two engines as one. That can be a real cost savings. It has been brought to my attention that the Freight Quote panel is not working properly. I can pretty much ship anywhere in Country for 500.00 to Commercial address or Terminal, so if it comes up as 2400.00 for shipping send me an email and I'll get you an accurate quote. Montana, Idaho,Wyoming and the Dakotas seem to come up wrong. We also have the 12/2, 30/2 and 16/1 in stock.
