They can also manage the content that broadcasts on their own channel which includes live and recorded video. Scheduled broadcast times are delivered to the potential viewers in the viewers' local time. This prevents time zone confusion for a global audience All live broadcasts are saved on the FameFor15.com Servers as "Reruns" and can be viewed on-demand or rebroadcasted on the user's channel The Users can broadcast for 15 minutes at a time. They have the option of purchasing additional airtime using site credits to extend the length of their broadcast up to one hour on their own channel. Users can only broadcast for 15 minutes at a time on the "Free Channels" A Broadcaster can see stats for their broadcast while broadcasting (including number of Viewers) A broadcast can contain both live and recorded content that the broadcaster can switch to on-the-fly during the broadcast Social Networking: FameFor15.com was designed as a Social Networking site as well as a broadcasting site Users can rate, share, and comment on shows, channels, and reruns. They can add shows, channels and reruns to their "Line Up" (favorites). They can also send messages to each other using the FameFor15.com Message Center. Each Broadcaster gets their own Fan Club. A Fan Club allows Broadcasters to collect and correspond with their Viewers. The Fan Club page allows the Fan Club Members to get together for a live chat or to view messages left by the Broadcaster or other Viewers of that Fan Club. Broadcasters can compete for the highest "Fame Factor." The Fame Factor is a calculated number based on broadcast viewers, fan club members, etc.. that shows how popular the Broadcaster is. The top ten Broadcasters are displayed on the home page. Live and Interactive: Viewers of FameFor15.com live broadcasts can interact with the Broadcaster through polls, callers, and live channel chat. A Broadcaster can create and manage poll questions to send down to their live viewers at anytime. Poll results will be returned to the broadcaster within minutes. Polls are a good method for the Broadcaster to see what his/her live audience wants to see (great for live performers) A Broadcaster can allow "Callers" during the live broadcast. Those viewers that "Call In" can be selected by the Broadcaster for a one-on-one text chat. The Caller can text chat while the rest of the viewers can watch and read. The Broadcaster can end a call and select another Caller at anytime "Channel Chat" is available on every channel so Viewers can interact with each other during any broadcast. The Broadcaster can monitor the channel chat during their live broadcast New Technology FameFor15.com was built in 3 components (Web Site, Broadcasting Software, Server Controls) using Microsoft .Net Technology "Broadcast Studio" was written based on the "Smart Client" programming model. Software updates are automatically sent to the user's software as they become available keeping all users up to date. Using Microsoft Windows Media Technology, the streaming video produced by the Broadcast Studio is in the highest possible quality based on the Broadcaster's available Internet bandwidth. "FameFor15.com Website" is a Web Application backed by a high performance database server. The site uses .Net Technology with other web concepts such as AJAX and Microsoft Silverlight to produce a Web 2.0 experience for the end user. Some areas on the site allow Users to customize their viewing experience by moving, sizing, and assorting panels that hold the chat windows, interaction windows (polls and callers), video display, and channel information. The Viewer can arrange these panels any way the want and the site will remember the panel positions for there next visit. Video streaming is displayed in a custom player designed using Microsoft Silverlight Technology. The player allows the user to stop and pause the broadcast and go to a full screen mode. The Server Model for FameFor15.com uses Microsoft Windows Servers to deliver the website and streaming video to the end users. The server component written for FameFor15.com allows the video streaming to be scalable. If traffic becomes too high, just add another server. The new server will synchronize itself with the other Streaming Media Servers and greatly improve the performance and keep up with demand. What We Hope To Expect We created FameFor15.com to compete with sites such as UStream.Tv, Justin.Tv, and Broadcaster.com. FameFor15.com sets itself apart from its competitors by allow for a "neverending stream" of video with scheduled content for viewers to keep up with. We wanted to create an engine that would allow for television-like broadcasting with planned time-limited performances by talented individuals that can be interactive with the audience. We wanted to limit the Broadcasters that choose to broadcast their garden bird bath for 24 hours a day and rather encourage those talented broadcasters that want to perform quality improv comedy, music, etc... to their viewers and keep them coming back at a regular schedule. We also wanted to create a business structure for broadcasters to earn money from their broadcasts. We unfortunately do not have the time or capital to invest in the marketing for FameFor15.com and hope that the buyer will continue where we left off and bring FameFor15.com to the next level of success and beyond. What's Included in the Sale: All source code for website, broadcast studio, and server components. Database and database server license Hosting until March 2009 All rights to art, logos, content, videos, and media that are proprietary to the business Technical Support/Consulting for buyer for one year (not support for customers) Available Developer for hire at a separate negotiated salary 19 variations for the FameFor15.com domain name including FameFor15.Net, FameFor15.mobi, and FameForFifteen.com Honorable Mentions Although we don't have the capital to make FameFor15.com what we wanted, we have taken it to a impressive level already. Since the FameFor15.com Broadcast Studio is a seperate software package, we have marketed it as such. There are hundreds of PAD sites on the Internet that make our software available for download. Most of the web traffic we get are from these sites. Check it out! Google "FameFor15" and see what shows up! Microsoft has honored us by including our site into their Silverlight Showcase on their Silverlight Website (silverlight.net) Please send me questions. I look forward to hearing from serious potential buyers! http://www.famefor15.com
