In layman’s terms, regeneration refers to the curiosity that batteries have of regaining part of their voltage after being idle (the stamina (persistence or longevity) of the regeneration is dependent on how long they can be idle, with more idle time equating to more stamina for the higher voltage being regained). DRAINING: Cells are drained further than in standard lights before they become unusable. This also accounts for a part of energy reclamation. METERING EFFECT: This is because the energy is carefully meted out by the circuitry’s fail safe (another subtle feature) operation which prevents too much energy being gushed out too fast, thus increasing the TIME of operation.
